Summer School - Baroque Lights and Caravaggesque Glimmers. 17th-Century Itineraries in the Marche

Ancona (AN)

Summer School of art history dedicated to the 17th century in the Marche region, with a particular focus on the themes of Baroque light and Caravaggesque glimmers. The course, curated by Anna Maria Ambrosini Massari and Simonetta Prosperi Valenti Rodinò, includes lectures by university professors and guided tours of churches, art galleries, and museums in numerous cities of the Marche. The itinerary unfolds over six days: starting from Fano and Fossombrone, continuing to Ancona, Sassoferrato, Fabriano, Camerino, Recanati, Osimo, Loreto, Macerata, Fermo, and Ascoli Piceno. Each stop offers in-depth insights into 17th-century works, artists, and itineraries, guided by scholars and experts in the field.

The Municipality of Pollenza presents "ConsapevolMente genitori", a series of educational meetings designed for those who face the educational challenge every day. The project is organized in collaboration with the social cooperative Il Faro from Macerata and aims to provide practical tools to understand and support the growth of children in a more conscious way. The topics, addressed with the contribution of experts, will range from emotional, relational and everyday aspects of parenthood. Festival della storia

Ancona (AN)

The eighth edition of the Festival della Storia returns to the Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona from 3 to 6 September 2026. This year's theme, 'Follies', is explored through a dense program of lectures, dialogues and meetings with historians and intellectuals of national importance. Among the expected guests are Marcello Flores, Luigi Mascilli Migliorini, Mario Desiati, Paolo Pombeni and Piero Ignazi, who will address the concept of madness in history from multiple perspectives. The first event, on Thursday 3 September at 5:00 PM in the Corte della Mole, is dedicated to 'The paranoid power. Historical cases compared'. All events are free admission and without reservation, designed to engage a wide audience of all ages.

XV Festival sul Giornalismo d'Inchiesta delle Marche – Gianni Rossetti

Back in Osimo is the fifteenth edition of the Festival on Investigative Journalism of the Marche, dedicated to Gianni Rossetti and organized by the Circolo Ju Ter Club Osimo APS-ETS. From September 4 to 26, 2026, five evenings will bring journalists and authors on stage to tell the behind-the-scenes of investigations and current topics. The festival opens on Friday, September 4 at 9:00 PM at the Basilica Santuario San Giuseppe da Copertino and continues on Sunday, September 6, also at 9:00 PM, at the Teatro La Nuova Fenice. The following meetings will complete the program until September 26.

Sabato 5 settembre 2026 Piazza Matteotti a Sassoferrato ospita l'evento Alzheimer Fest, una giornata di sensibilizzazione e informazione sulla malattia di Alzheimer e sulle demenze. L'iniziativa, che si svolgerà dalle ore 9:00 alle ore 20:00, prevede momenti di confronto, attività e testimonianze aperte a tutta la cittadinanza. Per l'occasione saranno istituiti divieti di sosta e transito veicolare in Piazza Matteotti, parte di Corso Don Minzoni e vie di accesso.
