Piume in viaggio - 2nd edition
Pesaro (PU)
From 4 to 6 September 2026, Parco San Bartolo hosts the second edition of "Piume in viaggio", the festival dedicated to bird migration. Three days between Monte San Bartolo and its surroundings to observe the autumn passage of migrants along the Adriatic coast, one of the most important corridors in Europe. The program combines guided bird-watching excursions, workshops for adults and children, talks with experts, themed exhibitions and guided tours. An opportunity to get closer to the nature of the promontory with binoculars around your neck, accompanied by guides and ornithologists. The 2026 edition is the second of the festival, born to tell the biodiversity of San Bartolo and the phenomenon of migration with an accessible approach for everyone, from expert birdwatchers to curious families.
L'ALBA DALLA SIBILLA. From the starry sky to the new day on the summit.
Montemonaco (AP)
A night hike that starts in the dead of night to reach the summit of Monte Sibilla in time for sunrise. You walk with a headlamp under a sky still full of stars, along the trails of the Monti Sibillini, up to 2,173 meters. Arriving at the top coincides with the first lights of day: the sun rises behind the mountain profiles and offers a view that stretches from Gran Sasso to the Adriatic Sea. The event is designed for hikers with at least some preparation for the ascent.
