Veronica Pivetti brings to the stage at the Teatro Comunale di Porto San Giorgio "L'inferiorità mentale della donna", a show that dismantles gender prejudices with intelligence and irony. The text, written by Giovanna Gra, takes inspiration from the 19th-century treatise by Paul Julius Moebius, which supported now-absurd theories on female intellectual inferiority, and turns them into a provocative and timely reflection. Through monologues and paradoxical situations, Pivetti gives voice to stereotypes and clichés that are still hard to die, inviting the audience to recognize them and laugh at them. An evening of civil theater that combines lightness and depth.
