The Arch'in Tavola farmers' market returns to the Archi area of Ancona every Thursday afternoon from April 23 to December 31, 2026. Organized by COPAGRI Marche and Agri Team Service, it is part of the 'Agricoltura in Festa 2026' program co-financed by the Marche Chamber of Commerce. Estate in Piazza del Papa

From June 26 to September 6, 2026, Piazza del Papa transforms into an open-air living room with the Estate in Piazza del Papa event series, organized by the Rete Esercenti. It kicks off with nine intense days: Happy Beerday (June 26-28) brings craft beer and street food, while PDP Stadium (June 29-July 3) combines football, Serie A-themed menus, and entertainment. The program continues throughout the summer with musical evenings (jazz, country, and other sounds), children's shows, book presentations, fitness, fashion, and much more. An integrated program of recreational, educational and cultural activities to promote psychophysical well-being and social inclusion, open to citizens and tourists. The solo exhibition 'GOLDEND COLOURZ' by Tommaso Buglioni is hosted at Magazzino Muse in Ancona from July 25 to September 7, 2026. The exhibition, under the patronage of the Municipality, pairs recently created works with historical pieces, allowing visitors to follow the evolution of the artistic journey of the artist from Ancona. The canvases range from chromatic geometries to action painting, with echoes of pop art and New York influences. The intensity of color and the marked expressive force define an original and contemporary pictorial language, typical of Buglioni, also known as Tom Tattoo.

The Adriatico Mediterraneo festival celebrates twenty years of music and cultures of the Adriatic and Mediterranean basin. The Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona returns as the heart of the event with five evenings of concerts ranging from folk, jazz and world music, meetings and exhibitions. Highlights include the musical dawns at Passetto and the concert by Peppe Barra at the Roman Amphitheatre on August 29. The artistic direction is entrusted to Maestro Giovanni Seneca, who this year has again brought together artists such as Maurizio Mastrini, Maria Moramarco, Carlo Maver and the Marco Tiraboschi Trio. The twentieth edition is divided into two blocks: from August 26 to 30 and then again on September 18 and 19, 2026.

The fourth edition of AnconaBarocca, from August 30 to November 14, 2026, brings Baroque music to the historic sites of Ancona. The festival, organized by the Fondazione Alessandro Lanari and the Centro Nazionale di Musica Barocca with the support of the Marche Region and the Municipality, offers a rich calendar of concerts and cultural events in churches, palaces, and theaters of the city center. The initiative combines the rediscovery of 17th- and 18th-century musical heritage with the enhancement of the city's historic architectural spaces.

Summer School - Baroque Lights and Caravaggesque Glimmers. 17th-Century Itineraries in the Marche

Summer School of art history dedicated to the 17th century in the Marche region, with a particular focus on the themes of Baroque light and Caravaggesque glimmers. The course, curated by Anna Maria Ambrosini Massari and Simonetta Prosperi Valenti Rodinò, includes lectures by university professors and guided tours of churches, art galleries, and museums in numerous cities of the Marche. The itinerary unfolds over six days: starting from Fano and Fossombrone, continuing to Ancona, Sassoferrato, Fabriano, Camerino, Recanati, Osimo, Loreto, Macerata, Fermo, and Ascoli Piceno. Each stop offers in-depth insights into 17th-century works, artists, and itineraries, guided by scholars and experts in the field.

Introductory Musical Course "A regola d'arte"

The eighth edition of the Festival della Storia returns to the Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona from 3 to 6 September 2026. This year's theme, 'Follies', is explored through a dense program of lectures, dialogues and meetings with historians and intellectuals of national importance. Among the expected guests are Marcello Flores, Luigi Mascilli Migliorini, Mario Desiati, Paolo Pombeni and Piero Ignazi, who will address the concept of madness in history from multiple perspectives. The first event, on Thursday 3 September at 5:00 PM in the Corte della Mole, is dedicated to 'The paranoid power. Historical cases compared'. All events are free admission and without reservation, designed to engage a wide audience of all ages.

ODESSEA al femminile

Four lecture-shows that reinterpret the Odyssey through the female figures of Penelope, Anticlea, Circe and Nausicaa. Cesare Catà and Paola Giorgi bring monologues, music and live singing to the stage, giving voice to the women who marked Ulysses' journey. The appointments take place in two symbolic locations in Ancona: the Courtyard of the Mole Vanvitelliana and the Palazzo degli Anziani. A cycle of theatre and storytelling that intertwines myth and contemporaneity, offering an unprecedented look at the Homeric poem.

Festa del Mare – Market exhibition and fireworks display

1ª EDIZIONE DELLA "SETTIMANA PER LA PROMOZIONE DELLA CULTURA EBRAICA"

Ancona participates in the first edition of the Week for the Promotion of Jewish Culture, scheduled from 5 to 20 September 2026 throughout Italy on the occasion of the XXVII European Day of Jewish Culture. The city program revolves around the theme 'Love in Jewish Cinema' with two evening screenings at the Auditorium Orfeo Tamburi of the Mole Vanvitelliana. On Sunday, 6 September at 9:00 PM, 'Neighbours (Vicini di casa)' by Mano Khalil is shown, while on Monday, 7 September, also at 9:00 PM, it's the turn of 'Noodle (Legami)' by Ayelet Menahemi. Both evenings are introduced by the project curator. Completing the initiative, on Sunday, 6 September, free guided tours of the Synagogue of Ancona are scheduled, an opportunity to learn about the city's Jewish historical and cultural heritage.

Incontro con l'autore - Presentazione Libro: Non è un gioco, è azzardo

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 5:45 PM, the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Ancona hosts the presentation of the book "Non è un gioco, è azzardo" by Stefano Vaccari, MP and coordinator of the Interparliamentary Group for combating the risks of gambling. An opportunity to explore the phenomenon of gambling addiction and its social repercussions through discussion with the author and organizations active in prevention.
